In the final of the 2015 Argentine Open, La Dolfina defeated Ellerstina Piaget by 13-12 at the “Cathedral of Polo” in Palermo, Buenos Aires. The enthusiastic audience witnessed a thrilling fight between the two polo teams. In the beginning both teams showed an even performance, but in the second chukka La Dolfina started to dominate the match. In the second part of the game, Ellerstina Piaget narrowed the margin to a one goal difference, but in the end La Dolfina won out over Ellerstina Piaget. By winning the 2015 Argentine Open, La Dolfina also won the Argentine Triple Crown. Following 2013 and 2014, it was the team’s third Argentine Triple Crown in a row, which has never before been accomplished by a team in the history of the sport of polo.
